Beautiful Safari - Kenya

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is a large game reserve in Narok County, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Mara Region, Tanzania. It is named in honor of the Maasai people for "spotted," an apt description for the circles of trees, scrub, savanna, and cloud shadows that mark the area.

It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, game, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson's gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration.

Little-known Historial Places in the World



Pamban Bridge, also known as Annai Indira Gandhi Road Bridge, connects the Rameshwaram island with the mainland. It is the longest sea bridge in India, nearly 2.2 km, and stands as a fine example of Indian architecture . The bridge was constructed with sufficient elevation and a beautiful scenery of the sea; adjoining islands and parallel rail bridge below can be viewed from the bridge.

The Teotihuacan pyramids are the most famous place in North America. This place contains some of the largest pyramids of the world. There pyramids were build in the pre Colombian Americas. They are also famous as the world largest residential complexes. It is almost a city, which was established in 100B.C. the culture and civilization of this place was also known as Teotihuacan. This place was considered as the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.

Moenjo-daro was built around 2600 BC and abandoned around 1900 BC. It was rediscovered in 1922 by Rakhaldas Bandyopadhyay, an officer of the Archaeological Survey of India. He was led to the mound by a Buddhist monk, who believed it to be a stupa. In the 1930s, massive excavations were conducted under the leadership of John Marshall, K. N. Dikshit, Ernest Mackay, and others. John Marshall's car, which was used by the site directors, is still in the Mohenjo-daro museum, showing their struggle and dedication to Mohenjo-daro. Further excavations were carried out in 1945 by Ahmad Hasan Dani and Mortimer Wheeler.
